Who are we? What do we do? Why we need YOU!

Welcome to Rob and Giles' Mashup Mondays Blog! If you're not familiar with who we are, we do a show on Coventrys student radio station on mondays 12-2am, you can find us at www.sourceradio.co.uk We play the sickest drum and bass, dubstep and general noise for two hours a week exclusively for source radio! Make sure you tune in each week for an exclusive mix from various DJ's from around the country and for all the hottest releases.

So, who are we?
My name is Rob aka 3LITE (www.myspace.com/masterscratch) I come from Billingham in Teesside, its right next to Middlesbrough (no1 worst town 2007!) and about half an hour from Newcastle. I moved to Coventry in sept 09 for Uni where I study Music Tech, its pretty good so far! I've DJ'd for about a year now and I've produced dnb for about the same time. Back in Teesside I DJ'd in a club called SUMO, it was pretty sick, every now and again I get the train back down to do a set. My main influences are Hype, Hazard, Original Sin and Clipz, so you can tell I go crazy for Jump Up! Hey Hey, My names Giles I'm originally from the Isle of Man, I'm freshing at Covnetry Uni doing music tech. I produce pretty much everything, DJ Dnb and Dubstep and now im co-presenting this radio show. I love music...motown, DnB, dubstep, electro, jazz, blues. I love food. I love cars. I love people. How can you help??
If you are a DJ, Producer, MC or whatever, get in contact with us! Every week we'll be looking for new tracks to play from unsigned producers and DJ's, we'll also be looking for someone to do us a minimix between 10 and 30 minutes long each week, if you want to help us out that way just email giles.braid@sourceradio.co.uk
